Who am I?

Ahh. An "about me" page... It reminds me of all those awkward times on your first day anywhere, where you're asked to introduce yourself. "So... We'll go around in a circle, and we can all tell everybody a little about ourselves to get to know each other!" I almost immediately get anxious, and have that awful sweaty-palms-action going on. What do I say about myself? Should I tell them this? Or that? Is it even going to be relevant? Are they going to care about that? Wait. What? Who the hell am I? *burst from anxiety, bury self in a dark, dark, hole and never see the light of day*

I guess I'll start with my name. HI! I'm Samantha! When I was little, I remember asking my parents why they decided to name me that. They told me, "We named you after Samantha Fox. She was popular in the '80s. We just liked that name." Little curious me decided to go on Google and search Samantha Fox. To my horror, it was a porn star. A PORN STAR(!!!) I was... speechless. Also, kind of confused. Upon further "searching", I realised my parents were actually talking about Samantha Fox, the singer hahahaha. I was 12, and a total noob with computers. Can you blame me? Anyway, you can call me Sam, or Sammy. I get the occasional "Oi"! but really, just Sam is fine :)

I live in Melbourne, Australia and love it here. Although, I spent the first 11 years of my life in a different city, in a different state, in an entirely different continent. Perhaps I'll talk more about that in an actual post.

I don't know if I'm even going to bother to blog consistently, because my life honestly isn't that interesting. I don't have a specific interest (i.e. Beauty, technology, food, etc.) so I'm just going to post about anything and everything. I made a blog out of pure boredom. I've had blogs in the past, but eventually just would lose interest and then delete everything! Maybe this time will be different...  Maybe.
